My Day 1 report, Summer camp 2025
Today was great, I was inspired by the speakers 🔥, even though most of the speech were goodwill messages for the forthcoming four days... Over the process I've learnt from speakers like @mobolajiogunlende sir, who is the honourable commissioner for youths and social development that we should always make sure we pass through the process of success and that there's no shortcut to the top there ❤️. I've also been inspired by the convener of this great program, the man himself... Emphasizing on the fact that we should not limit abilities to gain a lot from the knowledgeable speakers, he is indeed the one whom most of my thanks is directed to for shaping something like this to reality.... 🙌. Moving on I also really gained from sir Samuel who represented Mr @tundemabawonku bringing upon us the awareness that "we are the spark that ignites upon the flame" 👏... That's basically not all 😍 I got to be inspired the most by @ikechukwu sir who represented Mrs Folake Soetan C.E.O Ikeja electric, he was really dazzling as he broke down to us bit by bit on what we can achieve by being surrounded by great minds and attending impactful events like 'Being young is an asset' where he demonstrated to us using the story of a building and the story of another personality that shooked him, relating too how he rose his grade from 2.7 to a four pointer throughout his years and also empowering us to keep learning as it is a lifelong journey, 🔥🔥🔥... great lessons also came from the T.G.P.S education district 3 Mrs olaitan lawal represented by Mrs idowu passing so many lessons to us, moving on I was also mostly inspired by Mrs oyinkansola adeleye, the HR professional and Mrs Stella Duru representing the noble Banwo and igodalo, both in the zed crest and all other great speakers in the military who came to enlighten us like Captain Musa representing rare admiral Shehu Ma CSP ayuba representing AIG fayoadae … 🔥🙌🔥🔥 Also including Mrs Adedipe too... We were also enlighten on first aid basics by Humanitarian Sir Dare, taking us on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and so many more.....👏👏👏. .... I'm YASIN LASISI🔥, I await unleashing my zeal for the remaining days, see you at top🔥

Emphasizing on the phrase "dream big or go home" and how we should act on it what we want to be. 💓 Moving to the first panelist session where we have inspirers like Mrs Olamide Oladele representing Mrs ABIMBOLA ... From the sustainability department in wema bank, justice Chinedum and the Head of personnel, jobberman, Mr Olamide Adeyeye and the Navy capt. Musa, they are all great achievers and inspirers telling us about their careers journeys, how necessary the route to success is and how we should have interest in anything before Diving into it. Consistency, paying attention to details and focus were fully discussed ⚡... Then the second session was exceptional, I got to see women in play, the dynamite and model, Mrs titilayo, whom at a young age had to do part-time in her studies to fund her education in English studies and the likes... Dr Chioma, CSP Ayuba, and also Mr Olugbenga, they were indeed great in their session listing out how, discipline, character, focus, self discovery and consistentcy Plays a delicate role throughout their journey... Day 4 at 'BYIA' Today was really inspiring, from great inspirers and achievers. It was all learning and motivation. Mr Azeez Amida, our first keynote speaker, the CEO of Pan African, started the day with an inspiring session — from sharing his WAEC report to telling us how we can gain anything in life just by the principle of 'why' and “how.” He also added that exposure is what we needed to be the best and we should ' be humble, be grateful and thank God'. Then Mrs Folusho also joined us online, exploring majorly with us on the importance of enjoying healthy relationships. She emphasized on the fact that we should ensure we are around those that positively ... NAME: LASISI YASIN ABIMBOLA SCHOOL: University of Lagos CAREER: Engineering: Sustainable Energy & Revolutionizing impact us and we should be the kind of friend that we want to have and that we attract who we are. We also moved on to Sir Rotimi Eyitayo, who emphasized on the 7 dimensions of life and why we need to balance the relationships with them. He also talked about the 3S → “STOP, START, SUSTAIN”. Moving on we had great achievers like Mr Toluse, Mrs Titilayo and Mrs Olatade. They emphasized on the need to shun all sort of gender or sexual based disorders and that we should shun drugs and take care of our mental health. After this, we had the consulates from UK and the British Council empowering us on scholarship opportunities and motivating us to strive for academic excellence. Mrs Nene Ogundimu and Mr Gbadebo Nafiu were also inspiring us on applying for opportunities out of the country but we should come back to make an impact in our abode. The day was bright and exciting. Learning from academic excellence to building relationships and to mental health balance! All was exciting! And I can’t wait to experience the FINAL DAY OF THE SUMMER CONFERENCE. I am more convinced than ever that Being Young is an ASSET.🔥💓🔥
LASISI YASIN ABIMBOLAMy Day 3 report, Summer camp 2025
Today was a bit of fun and all learning. Wait till I unleash the reason why! not long, It was because we had a mix of great speakers and influencers amidst us, let’s get into it! It all started with @oyinkansola, the head of digital marketing at Zed Crest Group, she was lit! breaking down bit by bit the insights on → PASSION, PURPOSE AND PREPARATION.🔥🔥 She told all we need to discovering our passion, how we can find our deep purpose and the amount of intense preparation we need to achieve the biggest dream we can set for ourselves. ✨ Then it went on to the next speaker who really was awesome, like, I liked her style, she broke down concepts of goal setting and prioritization. Mrs Yetunde Bawa-Allah @yetundebawa-allah was at the peak, saying we as young minds should prioritize what is the most important thing to us, avoid distractions and making sure that we set SMART goals making sure we achieve them and staying focused. It wasn’t only a speech, Mrs Yetunde was practically demonstrating in action. It wasn’t long until we had “big Daddy” I mean Mr Oscar Oyinsan, a great media personality, who told us the ultimate reason why we should find our passion, keep dreaming and fueling our mind, discovering our self and creating the path “FYP” that’ll enable us to reach anywhere we want to be. Not long after, we had the most interesting session of the event. The panelist session Focused on three women with the moderator Mrs Owolabi in inclusion, moderating Mrs TAOOMA (Mariam) and IB Quake. These were young inspirers and influencers, they all taught us why education was important to every successful person's journey and how we should live our life, our passion, be best at our academics to have a back-up plan. Then go fully for what we are inherently passionate about!!! I hope you're getting into it too! I am the most excited & more knowledge for the final two days! 💓💓.
